Wordpress Plugin – Easy Ad Management

If you’re blogging and trying to make money from it then you have probably thought about affiliate marketing. There are a number of ways to promote affiliate products such as writing blog posts that review products and including your affiliate link in the content. Often the owner of the product offers tools for their affiliates to use for their promotions such as image ads. You’ve most likely noticed little square ads on many sites and maybe wondered how to get them there easily. Well there is a fantastic Wordpress plugin that can help you manage your affiliate ads.

WP125 offers you a simple ad management plugin that you can use for your affiliate ads but also for when you offer advertising space on your blog. This plugin is so clever you can even set it to take an ad down once its paid advertising time is up or when you simply want to rotate your ads with alternatives.

There are many features to this plugin but the thing I like most is how you can keep track of how many times an ad is clicked. With this information you can make very informed decisions about which ads to keep up and which ads to take down. If the ads aren’t getting clicked then there’s no use leaving them there. If you have a few ads getting a good quantity of clicks but one fails to make a reasonable conversion in terms of sales then you can confidently remove it and not be left wondering if it every really was given a chance.

Another useful feature of the WP125 plugin is that you can set a ‘default’ ad when an advertiser’s paid time is up and even an email reminder sent to you about the expired ad. Whilst you contact the advertiser to see if they’d like additional advertising you can put up an ad advertising the space as available! Pretty neat stuff! You can choose how many ads you want to display and even how many columns they display in. You can see an example of this plugin live on my personal blog.
